We absorb all energy that is around us

Our bodies are made up of mainly water. We are energetic beings. When we have someone being negative by us, we tend to absorb that negative energy and we become negative acting. When we have someone being positive around us, we tend to absorb this energy and we become positive in behavior. If we stay around negative energy continuously, our energy changes to a negative state which results in corrupting ourselves at a cellular level. It is important to be aware of who you keep company with in life.
I have hypothesized this based on what negative energy(sound) does to water. This can be seen at https://youtu.be/tAvzsjcBtx8
Sound, energy vibes, color, our voices, spoken words, thoughts, beliefs, are all made of energy.

“Reiki is New Age and so I’ve been told to stay away from it.” Week II

“Reiki is New Age and so I’ve been told to stay away from it.”  Week II

This is the second article in my series of Questions and Concerns regarding the art of Reiki.

“Reiki is New Age and so I’ve been told to stay away from it.” 8/25/2017

Let’s look at the formal definition of “New Age”.    “ New Age is a term applied to a range of spiritual or religious beliefs and practices that developed in Western nations during the 1970s.” defined by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Age.  The art of Reiki, in my opinion, is not “New Age”.  The “New Age” term, I feel, has been used generically on all practices that people do not understand or are fearful of.  In society, anything labeled “New Age”, is Bad, or Evil, or something to stay away from.  The art of Reiki, the healing art using  hands, was re-discovered in Japan in around the late 1800’s to early 1900’s by Dr. Mikao Usui (Usui Sensei).  Dr. Mikao Usui developed an Usui Reiki practice where he treated many people for physical, emotional, and spiritual issues.  Dr. Mikao Usui also taught the art of Reiki, developing Master teachers.  (Master used here means one who has learned all aspects of Reiki and is able to teach others the Reiki art.)  The art of Reiki was soon forgotten in Japan due to World war 2, but was saved, brought to and developed in the early 1900’s in the Western world by Mrs. Hawayo Takata.  In the Western world, the art of Reiki was altered a little bit.  Mrs. Takata felt the need to leave behind or omit some of the techniques that she felt were too cumbersome or were not productive to use.   After developing and running her own Reiki practice, Mrs. Takata taught and developed many Reiki Master/teachers in the early 1970’s.  As each Reiki Master/teacher was formed, each one added their own personality in to their practice of Reiki.  During World war 2, Reiki had been forgotten in Japan due to Japanese military intervention.  The art of Reiki was only to be used on military ships for healing the injured military personnel.  After the war was over, Japan was reintroduced to the art of  Reiki from some of the Western Reiki Masters.

As of today, Reiki is taught and practiced all over the world.  Because all people have their own uniqueness and are from different cultures, we are seeing many variations of Reiki being used today.

Reiki is not a religious practice.  Although just because Reiki energy is not a religious practice doesn’t mean the Reiki practitioner is not religious in their life.  Reiki is not faith healing.  Reiki is bringing in a healing, high vibrational energy through the hands, that is directed by your higher self-your Divine self.

In my opinion, no matter what variation of Reiki a person practices, the Reiki energy is beneficial.  I myself practice a combination of modern Usui Reiki and old Usui Japanese Reiki.  I like the ease of using modern Reiki, but I also enjoy using some of the older techniques alongside of my modern Reiki.

I believe the art of Reiki was used in ancient times, just used in a different style.  I find many people not understanding the art of Reiki due to it is not in a physical form, like medicines, herbs, and food. I also feel most people are not aware of their own energy systems.  If one does not understand and are not aware of their energy system, one will not understand the basic principles of Reiki.  If a person does not understand, they tend to go in to fear about it.  My suggestion to you is to experience a Reiki session for yourself, even if it is a mini session.  Trust your own instincts.  Trust yourself!  Ask yourself later, how did that make me feel?  Trust your emotions and what you feel.  And notice, I said trust YOUR emotions and not others’ opinions.  I do not believe the art of Reiki is a “New Age”, because it is not new!

Reiki I course taught by Rev. Desiree Quintana, Reiki Master/teacher.

What is Reiki? Week I

What is Reiki? Week I

Reiki is an energy therapy that promotes healing, balancing and relaxation to a person, animal or plant. Reiki energy promotes healing in a person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Receiving Reiki energy does not guarantee you to be totally healed, but there have been cases where people were healed, totally. At the very least, receiving Reiki energy provides you with the means to becoming healthy again. Reiki energy can also be used to clear out negative energy in a house. Reiki energy promotes “whole health” and good self-care.
The word Reiki is pronounced “Ray-key” and can be split up in to two words for the meaning. Rei meaning Universal. Ki means Life Force energy. In other cultures, this energy is known as Chi in China or Prana in Sanskrit. And so, the word Reiki is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force energy. This energy is what flows through everything you see in the world. During a Reiki session, a practitioner will place their hands either above your chakras, on your chakras, or in problem areas of your body, in different hand positions. The client is fully clothed during the whole session. The practitioner is channeling the Reiki energy in to the person’s chakras and body.

Above, in the picture, is your auric field. The aura is an electromagnetic field surrounding your body extending up to 4-5 feet in healthy people. In unhealthy people, the auric field is diminished in size, dull and not very bright in light whereas the healthy person will have a bright, large aura. The auric field is made up of layers of energy (seven layers) that interconnects to our subtle bodies and chakras. Each chakra is related and connected to a layer of the aura. A chakra is a spinning wheel of energy that takes in all the information from our surroundings and experiences. The main chakras are located down the front and back of the spin area on a person.
An aura also acts to shield our subtle bodies, such as the mental body, emotional body, and so forth. The auric field is our subconscious mind, recording every experience, information, and memory throughout your life. Our energetic system requires certain levels of Life Force energy or also known as Prana to stay healthy. Our physical bodies require certain amounts of oxygen to maintain a healthy environment. Oxygen plays a big part in our health as does Life Force energy. Our lungs need oxygen to provide a healthy environment for our physical bodies, just like our subtle bodies require Life Force energy or Prana to maintain health and function properly within the aura. If there is a lack of oxygen for the physical body, illness and disease set in. If there is a blockage or a lowered level of Life Force energy entering in to the aura again, the subtle bodies will not be able to work properly and maintain health. In order to maintain health in the physical body, a person must exercise. In order to maintain health in your aura, a person needs to be involved in some form of energy flow control. Reiki Energy Therapy sessions provides Life Force energy directly in to the chakras and the aura where it then dissolves any blockages and rebalances a person’s energy system. Thus, Reiki Energy Therapy sessions creates an environment for maintaining health in the person. The first signs of illness is seen in the energetic system of the person. If the blockage is not cleared up, the decreased flow of Life Force energy results in subtle bodies not working properly. When the subtle bodies do not work properly, this causes imbalances in the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Disease in some form, whether physical or mental results in the physical world. Our physical bodies, emotional bodies, and spiritual bodies are all connected.

Smudging (Saging) our homes and ourselves

is an old practice found in varying degrees around the world.  In some cultures, burning incense is used in religious rituals to purify the air.  In North America, the native Americans have burned herbs (White Sage, Cedar, etc.) to purify themselves and their rooms of any negative influences, including virus.  I have burned White Sage in my own home with the intention of purifying my home and my aura of all negative energies.  I have also used it in my home office to clear out any extra energy that has started to accumulate from giving Reiki sessions.  But when I give Reiki sessions in public or in the office I use in our town for clients, I am not able to burn White Sage.  And so, I make my own White Sage spray and I use this instead.  Using White Sage spray, I feel, is just as beneficial if not more than burning sage.  The biggest benefit is you don’t have to be around smoke.  Using a Smudging spray (in my case, White Sage spray) smells light and fragrant, especially if there is added essential oils in the spray.  If you’re interested in Smudging with White Sage and/or herbs, here is how I do it.  Everyone does it differently to some degree.

Burning White Sage or herbs or combined:

To cleanse your home, I suggest you start in the basement.  You will be going from room to room.  You will need to place smoke in each corner of each room, including closets.  And while you do this, have the intention of-for example, of “purifying my house of all negative influences.”  Before you start, open at least one window on each level of the house.  It only has to be opened a crack.  This allows the smoke attached to negative energy to leave the home.

Light your White Sage stick on fire.  Have something under the stick to catch any ashes and/or sparks.  I’m not fussy, so I use an aluminum pie pan.  To use the White Sage stick, blow out the flame.  You only want the smoke.  Now go to the lowest part of your home-basement.  Start in one room.  Take the smudge stick and place smoke in one corner of the room, starting from the floor and moving up.  At the same time, I like to say a prayer/intention as I move from room to room.  I say something like this, “In Jesus Christ name, I bind all negative energy to the sage smoke and I send it outside to be turned to positive energy.”

Spirit Earth Science has this one you can say instead, “In Jesus Christ name, I release all negativity that surrounds me in to this sage smoke.  I release all fear that holds me back.  I release all energies that do not serve me.  Passing positive energy to those I cherish.”

There are different prayers you can make up yourself.  Say what you feel heals your home.

Place smoke in all corners and through center of the room.  Move to next room and repeat with your intention/prayer.

After you finish the basement, move up to the main floor.  If you have any other floors, continue until you’re done.  I have an attached garage and so I include the garage and my automobile.  You can also use a smudging stick to smudge your aura.  Just move the smoke around you while saying your intention/prayer.  Leave your windows open until your house has cleared up of the smoke.  You’re done.  Use this every time you suspect negative energy, virus, or if you’ve had a fight in your home.

The smudging spray is used in the same way, except you do not light it. (hahaha).  Just go from room to room, spraying in each corner and through the center with stating your intention/prayer.

I will share how to make Smudging spray.  But for those who would rather leave creating smudge spray to others, I offer you Reiki in the Prairie LLC’s smudge spray for sale in the Facebook shop.

Everyone who makes smudge spray adds their own little touch-Reiki in the Prairie LLCs included.

White Sage Smudge spray:

Take about 1 quart of Vodka (clear, non-flavored.)

Add about ½ cup of White sage leaves.  Place all of this in a large 2 qt. glass container.  Let it sit in a dark, cook area for about 6 weeks or more.

When the 6 wks is up, pour this through a cheesecloth.

Pour in to individual spray bottles.  To top off bottle, I add sterilized. Distilled water.  Now if you’re interested, you can add your favorite essential oil to each bottle.  Just make sure you shake your smudge spray before using it.

Smudge spray can be used in your office, house, in your aura, or any other place you feel needs to be energetically/physically cleaned.

What are Tibetan bowls anyways?

I combine Reiki energy and Tibetan bowl energy in to one energy session, giving you relaxation, balance, harmony, and peace.

What are Tibetan bowls?

The Tibetan bowls I have were handmade in the Trans-Himalayas. (the most northern part of the Tibetan plateau.)

It takes at least two metal smiths to create these bowls.  With each strike of a smith’s hammer, it is thought that a prayer was placed in the bowl.  Each bowl has hundreds of hammer marks, which could mean hundreds of prayers in each bowl.  As I play my bowls, I feel like a prayer is being placed out in the Universe.

The Tibetan bowls I own are bronze, made from 12 metals:   silver, nickel, copper, zinc, antimony, tin, lead, cobalt, bismuth, arsenic, cadmium, and iron.

Tibetan bowls are dated back to 560-480 B.C, the time of the historical Buddha.  The Tibetan bowls were used as:  meditation aids, holistic healing, stress reduction, chakra balancing, and sound enjoyment in monasteries, temples, and in meditation halls around the world.  This tradition was brought from India to Tibet in around 8th century A.D.

Tibetan bowls are played by playing chords, either by striking them or by vibrating them.  As the bowls are played, they produce harmonic tones.  These subtle sounds of the bowls will cause a left and right brain synchronization.

Use of sound for balancing=healing

Sound healing with the bowls produces similar results as the Reiki sessions I do.  I combine the two separate energies in to one energy session.  The Reiki energy is given to the client for dissolving any repressed emotional blockages, thus providing free flowing energy if the emotions are released.  This creates balance and harmony in the person.  Reiki energy provides the person with loving, high vibrational Life Force energy.  While the client lays and relaxes, I play the Tibetan bowls for reinforcement of the balancing that was done with the Reiki energy.  The subtle sounds the bowls produce helps the client to release any unwanted emotions that is causing them to be dis-eased.  The Tibetan bowls helps to reinstate harmony, peace of mind, and positive thinking.

The use of sound to heal has been around since ancient times.  The oldest known sound that has been used to heal is our own voice.  This practice is called “Toning”.

Why would I have a Reiki/Tibetan bowl session?

Reiki energy and Tibetan bowl energy (sound) are very beneficial to anyone.  Whether you have any imbalances going on or whether you are healthy, receiving these energy modalities will provide you with relaxation, stress reduction, balance (energetically, spiritually, and body), and they will show you that truly, you are the one that is able to heal yourself.  I like to say, “Reiki and Tibetan bowls can provide you with that little bit of help you may need.”

Receiving these energy modalities is beneficial for:

-a person who is dying.  (this is very relaxing and helps the person to accept what is.  They help take you out of “fear”.)

-a person who is medically being treated.  (These help a person to relax and reduce stress, which is what one needs to positively help heal oneself.)

-a person who has been having emotional issues. (The balancing of these modalities helps the person to harmonize.  Helps the person to face their “fears”.)

-Need to reduce stress in one’s life.

-a person who is having issues, but needs “a little help.”

-All ages.

It is my hope this can clear up a little bit about what Tibetan bowls are and how I combine them in one session to provide that bit of help one needed.  When you think about having a Reiki/Tibetan bowl session, notice how you feel about them.

Fact or “say-so?”

Are you feeling fear?  Ask yourself why?  I have had a few people come up to me, telling me their “belief” of why they will not have a Reiki session.  Typically, these beliefs are ones that are floating around the public, based from miss-understanding energy work.  The result is “fear.”

If you are one that has this “feeling”, I suggest you sit in a quiet area, and meditate on it.  Ask yourself why?  Are your beliefs based on facts or say-so?  Is the belief based on what someone has said to you?  Does the other person know? Or are they just stating their opinion?

“God is love.  When we follow fear, we are not following love.  Thus, when we follow fear, we are not following God.”  By Cynthia Bergsbaken

“How can I serve you with regards to Reiki in the Prairie LLC?”

My Testimonial 6-1-2017

Flower, picture by Cynthia Bergsbaken

Today, I received a 2nd degree burn on the outside of my hand-the last two fingers and palm.  I kept it under cool running water for a few minutes.  I than placed a pack of ice on a towel and placed it on my burn.  Every time I tried to take off the ice pack, my burn would hurt, big time!  After about 10-20 minutes of an ice pack, I took it off.  It hurt and burned, immediately.  I promptly gave myself Reiki energy in to my hand.  Within 5 minutes of receiving Reiki, my hand stopped to burn and hurt.  Two-three hours later, I had 95% use of my hand again.  The only thing I can’t do, is place it in hot water to wash dishes.  Whenever I have hurt myself, Reiki energy has always been there for me.  Reiki energy for me either takes away all my pain or takes away about 85% of the pain.  For me, Reiki energy has, I feel has sped up the healing process in my hurts.
I invite you to make your appointment now and not wait until you are hurt.  Reiki energy balances your whole system, relaxes your whole being, and it promotes healing on many levels.

My First attempt at using Tibetan bowls for Relaxation and Balancing

What’s New?

Tibetan Bowls by Cynthia Bergsbaken

I gave my first Sound healing and Auric massage to my daughter yesterday.
My intention was to provide balancing of her chakras with using my set of Tibetan singing bowls. She layed on a mat, eyes covered, and a light blanket on. She listened to about 30 minutes of Tibetan bowls singing. As I finished, I realized she had been sleeping. I finished up her session with an Auric Field massage/Auric Seal. When I asked her what she thought about the session, she said, “I fell a sleep. I liked it, but you startled me when you rang the bowl too loud. When you did the Auric Field massage, I was wondering what you were doing. It felt like you were really close to me.”
And so, I need more practice on getting to know and use my singing bowls. But from talking to her, she enjoyed her session.

Tibetan singing bowls are used in meditations, chanting, and sound healing. Sound healing meaning, balancing chakras, balancing your energetic system, and removing blockages that are in your auric field. Blockages, if left, can cause many physical symptoms in the body, including disease.

Meditation with my Tibetan bowls. pic by Cynthia Bergsbaken

Quinn, my dog came in my room while I was practicing my Tibetan singing bowls. She stood listening to the bowls for a bit than she layed down and fell a sleep. She was fast a sleep within minutes. I was super glad to see this, Quinn relaxing. Since my parents and their two little dogs left to go to their house in Minnesota, Quinn has been acting overly stimulated. She was nervous, unsettled acting, and jumpy. Quinn enjoys the music as much as I do. The bowls are peaceful and relaxing to listen to and to play.

Sound Healing

The Spoken Word. picture
by Cynthia Bergsbaken

I have shared some articles on Sound healing. Sound healing has been around for thousands of years.  When earth was created, God used sound to create.  Sound can be:  music, single notes played,  syllables sang, it can be chanting,  thinking, prayer, and it can be the spoken word.

We all do sound healing every day when you provide a simple encouragement to someone at the appropriate time. When someone is feeling low and maybe even depressed because of what they are going through in life, even the smallest word of encouragement can help.  When we acknowledge the person and his/her experience, and give them the time and patience to speak what they are feeling, we give them the space to start healing.  When we take the time to listen, we will know the proper time to give that other person a positive statement that can completely change the way they are thinking and feeling.  By saying even, the simplest words to another person in need, we help them to see that they are not alone, they have support, and they are loved.  Some small words of encouragement are intended as guidance for people, while other words are meant for providing clarity in life.

Lela was a young, vibrant woman that was cheerful, friendly, and creative in life. She was following a spiritual life, enjoying using her newly founded spiritual gifts.  Lela felt sure of herself, reading about all her abilities and strengthening them.  The evening after Lela had her birthday, she began to have many paranormal things start to happen to her.  She began to become fearful.  She was being spiritually attacked in her bed at night.   She started getting attacked, spiritually every day.  One evening, she decided to call a person whom she did not know, but read about in his newly written book.  She thought this person might be able to shed some light on to the situation. This person was a professional Psychic Medium.  She called this person and talked to him.  He was perplexed as to why she would call him.  He was also perplexed on what to do.  They talked for a bit, Lela feeling calm, but the psychic medium feeling nervous.  Then the conversation ended.  Lela hung up with no answers to her problems.  Each day, Lela thought about the conversation she had with the psychic medium.  Even though there were no concrete solutions provided to her, she remembers one sentence that caused her to re-evaluate her situation. One sentence that was spoke at the correct time to her that completely changed her thinking and feeling.  Lela had needed to be reminded about how powerful it is to “pray”.  This psychic medium reminded her when times are hard or we are going through something bigger than us, we need to use our spoken words, in this situation, prayer.

This true story, with a name changed, is an example of using the spoken word as a form of healing to another in life. How simple one word can be that can change a person’s perspective in life.  Even a stranger can provide healing words to another.  Lela is doing well and has come to appreciate the support and help others can provide at just the right moment with the spoken word.

Sound healing is all about providing loving vibrations that break up negative blockages inside of the energetic body. Once these blockages are dissolved, a person can have clarity of mind, body, and heart.  A person can become balanced energetically, which causes the rest of the body to become balanced also.

Let’s all of us  get out in to the world, whether it is in a huge city or in our own little neighborhood, and be there for another with gentle, loving, kind words that when spoken to another at the appropriate time, can cause them to start healing themselves.

There are times we feel dizzy, like we are in a wonderland of some sorts.  Our reality around us feels a little distorted, like you’re not quite in your body.  Does this sound like you at times?  I know for me, when I was younger, this feeling would happen here and there.  Why?  If it isn’t for medical reasons, you probably are not grounded.  Grounding is being in your body, feeling it, and accepting it.  Grounding is pulling your attention down in your body, your feet and the ground.  Highly sensitive people will have hard times with being grounded in life due to being a higher vibration in life.  Living life in a higher vibration will cause a person to spend lots of time “up in their heads”.  Staying grounded in life provides you with a way to:  enjoy life as a embodied Divine spirit, helps you to stay in the present moment, helps you to release negative energy that you receive, and it provides you with stability in life’s experiences.

Here are some ways I use to stay grounded:

-Imagine you have tree roots growing through the bottom of your feet and your Root chakra.  Send them down into the ground to circle around the middle of the Earth.  Bring them back up to wrap around your ankles and your waist.  Imagine a lever at your side, open it.  Now with intention, send the negative energies down into the ground to be changed to positive energy. (Don’t forget to open this lever.  If you do not, you will not be able to get rid of the negative energy.)

-Be in nature for at least 20 minutes.

My Feet, picture by Cynthia Bergsbaken

-Walk on the bare ground with bare feet.  This is called Earthing.

-Send your attention to your feet.  Notice how your baby toe feels.  Wiggle it.  Now move to the next toe and feel it.  Ask yourself how does my toe feel?  And so on.  When you’re done with your toes, try feeling your foot and ankle.  This is bringing your attention down in to your body.

-Wearing grounding crystals.  I like Hematite, Black Tourmaline, Black Obsidian, and Gold Sheen Obsidian.  The stone must be a stone that tends to activate the Root chakra.

-Wearing certain essential oils.  I like Lavender, Pine, and Frankincense .  They are  relaxing and tend to bring me down into my body.

-Making sure you eat protein before encountering known experiences that are stressful  to you.  I cannot get grounded with lighter proteins such as Tofu.  For me, I need to eat animal meats.

-Keep plants in your home.  The smell of the dirt and the feel of the plants helps you become grounded.

-Walk barefooted in your home.

-When out and about, if you’re feeling ungrounded, try noticing every step your feet make.  First notice how the foot feels when it steps down in front of you.  Notice how your foot rolls and moves up again.

-If you’re feeling off, ungrounded while amongst people, try imagining a can of paint in your favorite color.  Now place the pail above your head and let it pour out on top of your head.  Watch the paint as it drips down  on your neck, your chest, and so forth.  How does it feel?  What does it look like?  How do you feel wearing your favorite color?

-playing drums or listening to drums can activate the Root chakra.

I hope some of these techniques can help you stay grounded.

How Can Reiki Help Me?

Created by Cynthia Bergsbaken
Reiki in the Prairie LLC·Wednesday, January 25, 2017
First of all we need to understand what Reiki is and know how our energy systems work. Reiki is a gentle, calming hands-on/off spiritual healing that uses energy. The Reiki energy is known as Life Force energy, Prana, and/or Chi. These names are all names for the energy that flows through us keeping us healthy and protected from bacteria and toxic energies. In everyday life, we are given challenges and obstacles that sometimes triggers us to form negative thought forms and patterns. Some of us take up addictions to soothe our nerves, like smoking, drinking alcohol, or recreational drugs. Some of us smother our emotions with comfort foods or the idea that they need to exercise non-stop. Then there are ones who will rage at others, releasing toxic anger at the other person. People have all different ways of handling life’s challenges. When we have trouble releasing negative emotions, they tend to get stuck in areas of our auras. Our aura is the egg- shaped energy ball that surrounds our bodies. We have what is called chakras, which are located all over us. These chakras are areas or zones that take in energy or emotions from our surrounding areas. This is how we read other’s emotions. Some of our chakras are for releasing emotions that we, ourselves feel. Here are a couple of different scenarios that Reiki energy helps us. Unhealthy life style! dead leaves When a person uses recreational drugs, alcohol, smoking, or unhealthy eating as a means of handling their emotions, they eventually create a weakening of their aura walls. These weak spots form tears and rips in the aura wall. When you have tears or rips in the aura, you leak out your Life Force energy. This energy is what keeps you healthy! When you leak out energy, you have less vital energy in life to live your life. You are prone to toxic energies entering your own healthy environment. This means disease will start up in the aura. When a person doesn’t handle their negative emotions, they get stuck in the aura and chakras. This, over time, causes stagnation of your original, free-flowing energy. You can compare your flowing energy system to your circulatory system. Both systems in order to be healthy, must be free-flowing. If there is a clog some place, it will cause stagnation of your energy and/or your circulatory system. All clogs in the circulatory system or your energy system are detrimental. The clogs in your energy system are the root of your physical problems, disease. Disease shows up in your physical body that relates to the stagnation of energy in that area. For example: If you are not releasing grief in your life, this tends to cause a blockage in your Heart chakra zone. One keeps holding on to grief from, for example, not forgiving others and self, losing a loved one, etc. This grief acts to block your flow of energy in your Heart chakra zone, and throughout your whole thoracic region of your aura. The blocked energy causes a stagnation of energy, where no new energy is able to be introduced to this area. When this happens, disease starts to show up in your aura in this area. If the blockage is not cleared away, bringing in new energy, disease will show up in the physical body also in the same region, the thoracic area. Here in the thoracic region of the body, we could have disease show up as pneumonia, heart disease, enlarged heart, etc. So how does Reiki help someone? Reiki, being a spiritual art of healing, brings you loving Life Force energy that is placed in your aura and physical body. Your own Divine spirit directs this energy throughout your body, placing it in areas where it is most needed. The Reiki energy helps to close up leaks and tears in the aura. Reiki energy breaks up energetic blocks, helping you to release what you need to release. (emotionally and physically.) When this happens, Reiki energy brings about energetic balance once again in your energy system. When we have balance, there is health and happiness. Reiki energy goes to the root of the physical problem, in the energy system. Here Reiki energy is able to break up the clogged energy, bringing forth equilibrium in one’s body, mind, and spirit. Reiki energy combined with our own efforts to heal, gives us back our health. Co-creating with Reiki energy is a pleasurable and healthy alternative way of healing. Shadow Working

I,  off and on make comments on posts in the Empath communities on Facebook.  It’s typical for me to suggest to others, the most important experience I’ve brought to my self is “Shadow Working” on my self.  Usually the comment I get back is, “What is Shadow Working?”

Shadow Working is basically you excavating in to who you are.  To start, you can pick any area in yourself that you notice.  Such as;  Likes and dislikes-What is your favorite color?  Why?  How does it make you feel?  Why do I like this….?  Why don’t I like that?  Another area you could dive in to is your beliefs.  A lot of our problem beliefs were taught to us as children.  Question your beliefs;  Do you still believe in……?, Why?, Where did you learn it from?, Does it still make sense?, Is this belief always true for you?  If you find a problematic belief, it’s time to “dump” it and make yourself a new belief to take its place.  By using the formula that Luis Angel Diaz, author of “Memory in the Cell” shares with you, you start to see how the belief was benefitting you, in a negative way.

Formula exercise from “Memory in the Cell”(1).

Find the strongest emotion regarding your belief.  Example rage.

Now place that emotion in to this formula-  “What is the benefit of your feeling ………(example rage)?  Answer this.  Try writing all this down on paper.  If the benefit is an action word, write down how you feel about it.  Keep writing down this question with each new beneficial  emotion.  When you get to the most positive emotion you can have from this, stop.  Now look at all your first answer(example rage) and your last answer(example love).  Place the last  answer in the first spot in this formula.  Formula 2.   “In order to …….I need to……”.   Than take your first answer and place it in the last spot in this formula.  Now read it and think about it.  This is how you think in terms of this belief.  “In order to feel love, I need to rage”.   Does this make sense to you?  This is a good way to heal mistaken, negative beliefs in your life.  By noticing what you actually believe, you’re able to heal and release them, replacing them with a positive  belief.  It is amazing to see and understand, how some of our beliefs from childhood became twisted.

Shadow working is also looking at your behavior in life.  Why did I react the way I did to that person?  Anytime you are triggered in life, or react negatively to an experience, you are projecting your negative emotions out to others.  This goes for any person that acts negatively in life.  People and experiences come in to our lives to help us “heal”.  At times, they trigger our negative reactions.  The person that triggered this in you is your mirror.  They just mirrored to you what you need to heal in yourself.  Example;  You are all excited because you bought a new purse that was different, but fun,  from your usual purchases.  You show your new purse to your sister, looking for that validation that it is so cute!  Your sister looks at the purse and says, “It looks like you bought that from a rummage sale!”  You become embarrassed at first, wishing you hadn’t bought  the purse.  But then you become angry at her.  Why?  Why did you  become embarrassed?  Your sister criticized you which made you feel ashamed.  She shamed your happy experience of having a cute, fun, out of the ordinary purse.  By becoming ashamed, you just let another person manipulate you.  Your sister, criticizing you , is a mirror image that shows you, you have this “criticizing” tendency also in you and have used it towards yourself and others.  Now ask yourself, why did I feel angry?  Because your personal boundaries were just attacked.  Your sister walked all over them and you did not stand up for yourself.  These are questions you need to ask yourself.  Why did you react the way you did and what is being shown to me (the others bad behavior) that I can heal in myself.  By healing the behavior in you, you actually start to also heal the other person’s behavior in them.  To heal behaviors shown to me by others, I have successfully used the “I love You” technique or also known as Ho’Oponopono technique.  The Ho’Oponopono technique

was introduced by Dr. Hew Len of Hawaii.  I wrote an article talking about how to use this.

Lets take a closer look at the embarrassment or shame you felt from your sister criticizing you and your purse.  Why did you feel shame?  Again, this can be someone’s behavior towards you when you were young.  Think back to your parents, sister/brothers, etc.  Was there someone who off and on embarrassed/shamed you and others?  When you figure this out, it’s time for you to heal it.  Know when others act negatively in life, they are showing their inner realities to everyone they treat badly.  When you realize this, you start to think differently when someone acts badly.  Instead of feeling embarrassed, you start to have forgiveness and compassion for them.  You also can realize when someone purposely tries to make you feel bad about yourself, it’s called manipulation and control.  Manipulation is the” art of making someone’s soul dance for the manipulator’s pleasure.”  Stand up for yourself instead of dancing.  How?  By becoming assertive.   Assertiveness is not aggression, it’s simply stating, out loud,  what is happening, communicating how you feel about it, and stating what you want done about it.

Working on all your boundaries will also help you.  Look at each of your boundaries-Personal, Emotional, Mental, Sexual, and Business.  Write all your beliefs down regarding your boundaries.  Do they make sense?  Do you need to re-vamp them?

All these ways are a way to start “Shadow Working” on yourself.  I’ve been doing this for about 10 years now and I have enjoyed every stage of it.  I can’t think of any better way to show love to yourself than getting to know yourself.

I’m also a believer in using natural stones to help learn about your self.  By wearing one  or more of these stones, their energy vibrations will assist you in bringing forth emotional areas in your life to be healed.

Be the miracle!  Miracles may not happen if you just wish for them or ask for them.  It’s time that you stop observing, and talking about them  and actually do the work.  Be the miracle in life.

Imagination, One of Your Super powers

God’s Unconditional love surrounding earth.
Our imaginations are one of our superpowers on earth. This is stated in the book called “Your 3 Best Super Powers” by Sonia Choquette. I feel she is 100% correct. You see, in this world, we use thought and spoken word to bring to us our own realities we live in. In other words, if we think negative thoughts and/or speak negative thoughts, we bring to us a world that is pretty negative. We bring other negative people to us that provide us with negative experiences. And so, I feel it is important we use our imaginations in loving ways. Watch our thoughts and spoken words. Are they loving? or are they in need of a little “tweaking” to a more positive feel. Instead of thinking of the future in “worry” and “resentment”, how about using your imagination and think of how beautiful your day will be. Think about all the smiles you can give out and think about how people will respond to this-in a loving way. Imagine yourself, walking through your day with a circle(aura) around you that projects “love” to everyone you see and meet. Think about how your evening will look. Maybe imagine you are meeting friends, a significant other, or family and you see yourself having the greatest time. All of you are laughing, smiling, and enjoying each others company. Or maybe you had a fight with someone the other day. Now imagine yourself walking up to the person and hugging them. The other person is stunned, but then melts into the hug and says, “I’m sorry” and hugs back. Now after you’re done thinking and imagining these experiences, how do you feel? You feel more positive and loving. Now, when you go out in to the world, notice how people react to you. You are projecting off “love”. Notice how people will look at you with warmth and love in their hearts. Notice you’re making a positive difference in your area. Now think of how it started by you using your imagination in a loving way and how it is impacting the area around you, like a domino affect. Why not, in your imagination, place your love and God’s unconditional love around our world and ask it to stay for eternity. I invite you to help change our world with “using your imagination in a loving way. “

Ho’Oponopono, the “I love you” Technique

                                          Ho’Oponopono,  the “I love you”

                                                    Technique    12/15/16

What is Ho’oponopono technique and why should it interest you? This technique is an ancient Hawaiian technique for clearing out your Subconscious mind.  The Subconscious mind is also known as our “Inner child.”   Our Subconscious minds contain all the information and memories of our existence.  Our Subconscious minds are like computers collecting all the data that comes to us as energy. Energy that is equivalent to emotions, thoughts, ideas, thinking, etc.  This technique was brought to the public by Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD.  Dr. Hew Len is a psychologist who was working with mentally ill criminals in Hawaii using this technique to cure them.   This technique uses “love” to heal.  It sounds like a fairy tale, but it is proven through Dr.  Hew Len’s accomplishment of healing all the criminals in Hawaii’s hospital.  He did this without even seeing the patient!   This is just a quick back ground of this technique.  My intention is to actually give you the technique to start using it in your everyday life. I may have inadvertently changed a few of the words, but it still works.  Dr. Hew Len has a Youtube video that he talks to the audience about this technique and how to use it.  https://youtu.be/5lHiWyWU-Eo

There is also a book that I have read about this technique called, “Zerolimits” by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD.

Let’s get back to your Subconscious mind (Inner child). What kinds of things do I need to erase from my Inner child?  Building a good relationship with your Inner child is the most important relationship you can make in your life, says Dr. Hew Len.  Your Inner child can be looked at as yourself at a young age.  Talking to your Inner child, acknowledging him/her when you feel yourself having negative emotions, and asking him/her what do they need, is being a good parent to your Inner child.  You need to be a loving parent to your Inner child, providing him/her with security and fulfilling needs.  As far as what should you erase from your Inner child, it’s whatever you feel is detrimental to your young self.  And so, if you had a bad experience, whether from your past or now, it would be wise to use this technique to heal it and erase it from your Inner child. Treat your Inner child like any other precious, young child, but in this case, it is you as a young child.  If the experience would not be beneficial for a child to be around, this is prompting you to use this technique to release it.  When you use this technique, you’re not only healing yourself, but you are also healing the other person involved with the experience.

So here is the technique. I started using this technique about 2 years ago now.

The words you will use (technique) are:

“I’m so sorry”

“Please forgive me”

“I love you”

“Thank you”

Yep, it’s that simple! When you say these words to your Inner child, you are telling your Inner child (which is also your Divine self) you’re sorry for neglecting him/her.  How many times have you asked your Inner child, “how are you doing?  Do you have a need?  Or I feel you’re scared, how can I help, how can I give you support?”  Our Inner child has been with us since we were created.  We are apologizing for not paying attention to their needs, for not healing the “bad” experiences and emotions we have stored up all our life.  The Inner child has had to continually experience all your “bad” experiences in your life.

Saying “please forgive me”, we’re are asking our Inner child (Divine selves) for forgiveness for neglecting them.

Saying “I love you”, you’re creating that precious relationship with your Inner child. In order for us to heal ourselves, we must love ourselves first and foremost.

And finally, letting your Inner child know that you are very thankful for their help, again is part of making a precious, loving relationship with your Inner child. (Divine self). You are thankful, that they will heal and erase what needs to be.

These words are said 3x in a row.

So here is an example how I use this to clear my Inner child.

Example: On the internet, I have a person become mean acting to me.  I figure out she is jealous of my ability to make jewelry.  After I get home, I will ponder if this same kind of behavior is in me? (jealousy of another’s abilities.)  We all are mirrors to each other, showing what is in our aura’s that is unhealed.  I think back to my life, reviewing it and looking for similar behavior.  I find that I have become jealous of other’s abilities in my life.  And so, to use this technique, I’ll say, “Cynthia (my name), it’s time to clean house. Please find all the information and memories of me being jealous of other’s abilities in life.  Gather all this together and release it up to God to be healed, neutralized, and erased. I am so sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and I thank you.  I say the bold line 3x’s.  That’s it, the behavior I had previously had in my Subconscious mind stored up has been healed, taken out and erased. This technique can also be used for unhealed past life issues.  Just say the same words, except place in “gather all this information and memories from my past lives and present life.”

The more you do this technique, the more space you make for inspiration to enter your mind.  Thank you  Dr. Hew Len for bringing this technique forward in to the public.  I, myself am very thankful!

The Healing Power of Stones and Crystals

The Healing Power of Stones and Crystals 11/14/2016

I’ve been wanting to write an article about the healing powers of dsc01482stones and crystals. I

(Picture by Ancient Wisdom Jewelry by Cynthia.  Raw Rose Quartz and Rose Quartz, Tanzanite, and Lepidolite necklace.)

wanted to show how natural stones/crystals can help a person in life with releasing emotional baggage and how they can enhance one’s whole self. The problem is how to start it and what to write.

I’ve always loved stones and rocks, ever since I was a child. I had my huge rock collection saved up in a plastic, quart size Dairy Queen container. The more color and sparkly the rock was , the better. Well, since I grew up, I decided to make myself jewelry with natural stones/crystals. The jewelry is my new rock collection in life. I did this for the love of stones/ crystals and for the desire to have healthy jewelry. I learned how to make jewelry the hard way, by a book. Soon, I was making jewelry like thousands of other people in the world. My plan was and still is, to make quality jewelry with solid Sterling silver or Gold-Filled metals and pair them with authentic, natural crystals and stones. The more natural the stone, the healthier the stone, the more healing energy the stone can provide. Soon I discovered each crystal or stone had its own energy vibration. And so when you put a crystal/stone on to wear, the energy of the stone tends to bring your own aura energy up in vibration to match that of the stones. Some stone/crystals are so strong in their vibration, that it takes days for a sensitive person to acclimate to the stones vibration. This is when I started to discover the healing powers of stones/crystals. You see, different colors of the stones/crystals correspond to the main chakras on a person. For example, black and red stones activate the Root chakra, yellow stones/crystals activates the Solar plexus chakra, pink and green stimulate the Heart chakra and so forth. Each chakra corresponds to certain bodily organs in a person. For example, the Heart chakra will be regulating the energy for the heart and lungs. If I wear a black or red stone, this stone will activate the Root chakra. The Root chakra is known for situations regarding our physical survival in the world. This would include food, shelter, love, finances, and water. This chakra is blocked by “fear”. Fear tends to make a person ungrounded-up in their head worrying. When you’re ungrounded, a person has a hard time releasing negative emotions and energies they take in from others and themselves. By wearing a black or red stone, the person stimulates the Root chakra helping themself to feel grounded and fully in their body. Thus if you’re grounded, a person is more likely to face their fears in life and heal them. The stones help you to rebalance the Root chakra.

Each stone has its own energy vibration. So just because some stones are black, doesn’t mean they all have the exact same energy. The black and red stones will all help you with your Root chakra, but each one may help with other areas also.

I’ve been wearing stones/crystals for many years now. I know what emotional areas in my life are weak and so I will wear the particular stone/crystals that will supplement this area and help heal me along with my own work in that area-“Shadow working” and using Reiki energy.

For years now, I have been “Shadow working” on my self. “Shadow Working” is another name for excavating your whole life emotionally and mentally, releasing what is not your beliefs and thoughts, etc. and healing what is yours. I suggest this to anyone who lives on planet Earth. ( Note: Here is an article that gives you how to do some “Shadow working” on yourself. Go to www.reikiintheprairiellc.com and to the section called Emotional/Mental. Click on this and scroll down to the article titled, “How do I Heal Myself from Past Emotional Traumas and Baggage.” )

Because I ‘m a Reiki Master practitioner, I give my self a Reiki session seven days a week. This is so I can keep a high vibration and stay energetically healthy so I can provide the highest level of Reiki energy to my self and to the public. The Reiki energy and natural stones/crystals help me to stay clear of energy blockages and they help me in finding what I need to release in my “Shadow working.” The Reiki energy, after receiving it, lasts about 4-5 days in my body. How do I know this? I found out from trying something new and finding out it was not a good choice for me.

When I first started out with Reiki, I decided to use Rose quartz with my Reiki session. Rose Quartz is a valuable stone for healing one’s emotional wounds in regards to loving oneself. What you do is send Reiki energy through the Rose quartz and in to your body. This is a great way to add healing to the Reiki energy-although Reiki energy is highly sufficient on its own. My problem was, I could not wear Rose Quartz comfortably due to its strong energy vibration. This did not enter my mind when I gave myself Reiki sending it through my Rose quartz. Rose quartz is known for Divine love, helps you love yourself and others and it activates the Heart chakra. Well, after my session, my body was truly vibrating from the inside out. My body was full of the Rose quartz energy vibration, which was strong for me. I basically panicked with this feeling. I had the Rose quartz feeling for 4-5 days. This told me:

1). Reiki energy goes in to a person’s body and it disperses immediately in to all parts of the body.

2). The Reiki energy is a round in your system for 4-5 days after receiving it.

3). Rose Quartz is a strong healer stone, but should be used with knowledge and respect for its ability.

Now I give myself Reiki energy everyday along with wearing certain stones/crystals throughout the day. Using natural stones/crystals and Reiki energy helps me with staying balanced energetically, keeps my vibration high for healing, helps me to release any emotional baggage, shows me what I have to release, helps me feel confident, and they help me to purify any negative energy (emotions) that gets in to my auric field. Plus the last benefit of wearing natural stone jewelry is that it looks beautiful.

I have no concrete proof that natural stones/crystals can help you heal emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically, but I know from my own experiences using them, they are a healthy, supportive ally.

Here are some of my favorite crystals and stones to wear:img_1052

(picture by Ancient Wisdom Jewelry by Cynthia.  This bracelet contains Hematite, Carnelian, and Shell.)

1. Black Tourmaline-Great for grounding and clearing your energetic system of negative energy. Root chakra activation.

2. Rose Quartz-Great love stone which helps with loving yourself and others and feeling Divine love. For those who are sensitive to the strong vibration of this stone, try using Pink/Red Tourmaline. Activates the Heart chakra.

3. Sodalite-Great for accessing the subconscious mind. Helps you detach from worry’s in life. Helps you to perceive your reality from a higher state of consciousness. This stone also helps to regulate and support blood pressure. Activates the Third eye (6th chakra).

4. Carnelian-Great for helping you feel courageous, energetic, and confident.

Activates the Root chakra, the Creative/Sexual chakra, and the Solar plexus chakra.

5. Amber-Great for general healing. This stone can help with S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and other depressions caused by lack of sunlight.

6. Amethyst-Great for helping you stay feeling positive when amongst many people. This stone is also good for countering addictive behavior. Amethyst also helps you find the root causes of certain habits and behaviors that can cause blockages and disease. Activates the Third eye, Crown chakra, Etheric and above chakras.

7. Lepidolite-Great for helping you to release stress, giving you a calm, relaxed feeling. This stone helps you stay strong emotionally, not letting external dramas affect you. This stone also is great for hyperactivity and insomnia due to stress and worry. Activates all the chakras especially the Heart and Third eye chakras.

8. Ametrine-This is a combination of Amethyst and Citrine. The Amethyst keeps you positive while you’re around groups of people. The Citrine activates your Solar Plexus or your “own will”. Thus you combine your will with our Divine’s will. This stone activates the Third eye, Crown chakras, Etheric and above chakras, Root chakra, Creative/Sexual chakra, and your Solar Plexus chakra.

9.  Golden Sheen Obsidian

This stone is black with a metallic golden sheen on it.  This stone, other then being beautiful, is a good negative energy shield.  It forms a shield surrounding your aura, stopping any negative energy from entering in.  It is great for grounding oneself to the earth.  The golden sheen activates the Solar plexus.  Thus, it tends to help one with their own will power in life.  This stone affects the Root chakra and the Solar plexus chakra.

These stones I listed, have more ways to help you, but I listed some of the main ones. There are so many beautiful, natural stones and crystals out there to enjoy and to help you enhance your energy field. I invite you to look in to purchasing yourself a stone/crystal that you’re attracted to. Another way to choose a stone that can help you if you don’t really know what you need help with is whatever attracts your attention in regards to natural stones/crystals-the color, texture, the luminescence, and/or the energy. These are the stones that can enhance your whole being, (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.) You can wear the stones/crystals as jewelry or you can simply place them in your pocket for all day.

Welcome to the wonderous world of stone and crystal healing!

Letting Go

In life, we are constantly being asked by God to “Let go.”  Each time we move to a new  house, we need to let go of friends and relatives.  Each time we need to heal  traumatic issues and toxic emotions, we need to “let go.”  When we graduate from high school and college, we are asked to let go of friends and that comfortable way of life we’re used to.  We get married, we let go of our dependency to our parents and family.  Our own children get married or move away, again we need to let go.  Soon our relatives and friends start to die and cross over to the unseen worlds.  We are asked to “let go” for our sake and theirs.  When we become known as elderly ourselves, we let go of our youth.  When we come to our last day on earth, God, one last time asks us to let go.  Let go of all physical ties.  Let go of family and friends.  When we are in heaven, we let go from being who we were in the physical realm.  Every time we “let go”, God gives back to us  love, support, compassion, and the ability to learn more about ourselves.  So death at the end of life is not scary, horrible, or new.  For all through our lives, we have been letting go and walking forward, becoming more and more independent, beautiful, compassionate, and loving.  Each time we are asked to “let go”, we find another missing piece of ourselves.  When we are at the end of our lives, Reiki energy sessions can be greatly beneficial to both the one leaving our earthly realm and to those who are left behind.  Reiki energy provides you with peace, calmness, love, and support for inner healing.  These are beneficial to both, the one who is leaving earth and to the one who is left behind. Reiki energy will help with your depression and fear you feel.   I invite you to help your loved  one feel love, calm, and at peace while getting ready for their new life.

Why do we have pain and suffering in our lives?
To me, pain is the body telling us, we have unhealed emotions and lessons to learn.  When we feel pain, we as a society try to get rid of it or cover it up with pain meds.  Just like our medical  practices, we cover up the problem not wanting to look closer at it to  figure out the real source of the pain.  We ignore it so we can get back to our work and fun in life.  But by ignoring it, are we actually helping our selves get rid of it?  No, we are just pushing it back-hiding it from conscious memory.  I feel in order to get rid of the pain, we need to observe it.  When we feel pain, we need to observe the pain, ask our selves what emotion is in this pain.  What emotional  issue is this pain from?  We  will find all the answers in side of us.  What does this exactly mean?  I’ve heard this time and time again from people and spirit.  But no one seems to define this or put it in to step by step form.  So what does this mean, to look inside yourself for answers?  From my own experiences I have found it to be true, to look inside yourself.  But I will spell this out for those like me,  that need it to be spelled out.  Inside of us all, we have a beautiful, loving Higher Self or Divine spirit, or God self, or also called your soul.  This being was created in the form of God.  This being was made with a spark of God, which means you also have Divine spirit in you.  Your soul/Higher self is one of God’s children.  Now getting down to the step by step, how do I look inside for the answers.  Our souls have infinite information at their finger tips.  Our souls have been living for hundreds  of years.  If you believe that your soul has been on Earth before,  playing out a different life in a different era, then you can also understand you soul has much knowledge.  Your Divine soul is also able to connect in to the “Almighty’s brain” for  infinite knowledge.  Now here is the step by step part.  Take a seat some place quiet.  No distractions.  Close your eyes.  Sit quietly concentrating on your heart area.  If you have any thoughts come up to you from every day life, just let it flow through your mind and let them go.  Still concentrating on your heart area, you may start to feel something there.  This would be the emotion of “love”.  This love comes from your own Divine spirit inside of you in that area.  Now, still sitting quietly, ask yourself the question you need answered.  What emotional issue is related to this pain I have in my _____?  Wait for the answer.  Don’t concentrate on the question, just let the question go and wait.  Sometimes it may take minutes.  Sometimes you may not  receive an answer while sitting there.  The answer may not be a voice  telling you.  You may feel a feeling, emotion, you may see a picture in your head.  Just go with it and accept it.  Again ask yourself another question.  What emotion I’m I feeling in the pain?  What color is this pain?  What lesson do I need to learn in life that this pain is trying to show me?  These are questions you will want to ask and to remember.  Write them down.  Re-read them when you are done.  Does any of it makes sense?  Now again observe your pain you’re feeling.  Do not judge it.  Do not hate it.  Do not try to cover it up.  Instead, this pain is there to help you learn.  This pain could be from a strong emotional issue you had as a child.  for example, strong lower abdominal pain could be a lesson in people relations.  How are you relating to other people?  What emotions are you putting out there?  Gossiping?  or Sending only love?  Maybe this pain is there for you to learn how to slow down in life and nurture your self.  This is a lesson in taking care of yourself.  The last step I suggest is while observing the pain, give it all your attention and love.  Yep, send it your love and hugs.  Make the pain feel the acceptance and love you hold for it.  I feel, once you do this, you’ll notice a lessening in your pain.  Pay attention to your pains in your body.  Pain is meant to teach us and to help us grow.  Pain is not meant to be masked.

Whether you want to follow the steps above, or just receive a Reiki energy session, or do both, emotional/physical pain must be dealt with.   The source of pain originates from emotional blocks we create for ourselves.  These emotional blocks start off in your Emotional layer and your Etheric aura layer and if not dissolved, will continue on in the physical body.  You create them by suppressing your own negative emotions to life’s experiences.  Receiving Reiki energy will help to dissolve these blockages, bringing the emotions  forward for you to “see”, acknowledge, and to release.  Reiki energy is your ally in combating  emotional blockages.  Once the blockage is released,  your whole person can start  going back to a balanced state.

So, I suggest you try one of these ways to help you release pain in life, whether it’s emotional or physical.  Give your body the respect and faith that it can heal.  No masking, no denying, just accepting the pain and releasing it.
So I’ll end with the Latin phrase:
“Inevitabilis  est  poena, dolor est optio.”
Translation:  ” Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. ”

Why is My Child Crying in School?

I have been around a few children who would cry in school off and on. When asked, they do not know why. I’ve talked to children who feel overwhelmed in school. The ones I’m talking about are overwhelmed by others emotions. I’ve seen children complain about stomach aches off and on in and out of school. Now all of these can be from simple issues such as upset stomach from foods or nerves, feeling sad or nervous so they cry and/ or maybe they are being bullied. There is another possibility that could be causing the child problems like these. Consider that your child might be a Clairsentient or an Emotional Empath. ” I don’t believe in that stuff”, you say. I ask you to read and to consider it about your child. Children that are highly sensitive, typically introverts but not always, that maybe love to touch things in their environment, that do not like being in large groups of people, that are sensitive to strong odors, sensitive to sounds and seem to know upon meeting someone-they like them or not, can be Clairsentients or Emotional Empaths. Here are a couple of addresses to read the definitions of Emotional Empath(Psychic Empath) http://psychiclibrary.com/beyondBooks/understanding-psychic-empath/ and for Clairsentient http://psychiclibrary.com/beyondBooks/clairsentience/

As a parent, you feel like you need to help your child, but you don’t know how. Here are my suggestions for your child, whether they are 4 years old or 17 years old. I suggest you teach them how to “Ground” themselves and to “Shield” themselves. Empathic children may have trouble being grounded. Grounding attaches you to Earth, so you don’t feel like you are floating above yourself. It lets you drain off any negative emotions that a person takes in for the day. These negative emotions will flow down in to the ground. By grounding yourself, you feel like you are in the present moment and not off in another world. As a parent, you may have experienced those days where you don’t know if you’re coming or going. You feel dizzy or light-headed and can’t focus. Try grounding yourself. Teaching your child to shield themselves helps the child to sit in a busy classroom and not be so affected by the many emotions going on in the class. From what I’ve seen, typical classes in public grade schools are around 20 + children. Now imagine yourself being able to feel every childs’ emotions in that class. Your child has to sit in their seat for hours, trying to focus on their work, feeling at least 20+ emotions. And this is if each child only has one emotion being projected. Wow, no wonder some kids all of sudden will start to cry. Crying is a way an empathic person releases negative emotions off of them. Crying is a great way that we all are able to release emotions we don’t want. Teaching your child to shield themselves every morning, before school, can save your child from feeling a lot of stress.

Grounding can be as simple as going outside and walking in the green grass with bare feet. Or playing outside. But I’m writing this to help school children feel more relaxed in school. My favorite grounding technique is to tell the child to pretend they are a large Oak tree. Every morning, before school, have the child stand up and pretend their body is the tree trunk. Their tree needs to grow leaves and so they need to grow roots into earth . Have them grow a root down from each foot and one from their crotch area. Now have them imagine each root(3 of them) growing down deep into earth. After a bit of time(10 seconds?) tell them to imagine seeing a red/orange/yellow liquid ball, this is the middle earth. Have them wrap their roots around this liquid. (As many times as they wish.) Now tell your child to call the roots back up to them. The roots will be growing back up to the child. When the roots come to the child’s feet, have the child wrap the roots around their ankles and their waist. Again, wrap them as many times as they want. When the child is done doing this, it is important to tell the child about releasing all the feelings they don’t want. How? Tell the child they have a lever or a handle that is at their waist. After wrapping roots around their waist, they need to push the handle open. If they do not do this, they will not be able to release emotions. After they do this, they can tell themselves what feelings they want to let go down in to earth. Example, Sally doesn’t like the anger that comes off of that teacher. It scares her. And so the child can say to themself, I let that feeling go . The feelings that go down into earth will be changed to positive energy. The child will feel more focused and less overwhelmed in the day. The child does not have to consciously let the emotion go. It will just happen on its own.

How do I teach my child to shield? She is only 4 years old. Children have great imaginations. Turn “Grounding” and “Shielding” into a daily morning game. To shield, tell the child they need to put on, every morning, their special protection suit. It can be like a space suit, a suit of armor, or simply a body suit. Tell your child to pretend putting on a whole body suit made of their favorite color. Example, Sally likes the color green today, and so puts on a body suit of green. Start by putting your left foot in the suit, your right foot next. Now pull the suit up over your body and place each arm and hand into the arm holes. Place the hood and face mask over the head. Now zip up the zipper up the front of the suit all the way to the top of the head. This body suit completely covers their face and body in their favorite color. Now lets place God’s special protection over their favorite color. Tell the child to imagine putting on a body suit that is sparkly white. This sparkly white shows all the different colors of the rainbow in it. This sparkly white body suit is God’s protection. Tell your child to go ahead and put it on and zip it up. Now the child is in a sparkly white bubble of protection from negative emotions/energy. Tell your child that these body suits will help them not feel so many feelings. It will help them focus and feel safe, calm, and happy. Tell them the suit will not stop all feelings, but it help them to feel good. If the child is older, I suggest you have them release their body suits when they get home from school and place up a new one.

Doing these two techniques every morning can help your child feel more at ease amongst crowds of people. If it is the weekend and you’re going some place crowded-mall, shopping, trip, air ports etc., I suggest you have your child do these before leaving. When your child is old enough(4th or 5th grade?) to understand about their gift, it would be wise to help them educate themselves through books or educational empath sites on the internet. To be a successful person in life, one must learn about themself, understand themself, and accept one self. To accept ourselves and honor ourselves is one of the most important lessons in life.

Our Energy System, the Auric Field and Major Chakras

The Etheric body is the body that is located right next to your physical body.  This body is typically 2 inches wide.  This body acts as a barrier to all external negative forces that could harm you.(bacteria, negative energies)  By having a healthy life style:  healthy diet, low stress,  no drug, alcohol, nicotine  or other addictions, you will be protecting yourself and honoring yourself with the consequences=  healthy Etheric body= good health.

The Emotional body is the next body that has to do with your emotions, feelings, etc.  This is the area you will store unresolved emotional issues in your life now and from past lives.  If you do not resolve these emotional issues in your life(by seeing it, feeling it, forgiving yourself and others, compassion, and letting it go) they will remain there corrupting your way of perceiving your reality as seen in the Mental body.  Example:  A woman or man felt  angry at his/her  brother or sister  for not asking you to go to a store  with them.  He/she  see’s all the other brothers and sisters were asked, except he/she was  not.  You perceive this as being left out, abandoned from your family, etc.  This has happened time and time again.  He/she felt  lots of rage over this situation of not being asked.  In actuality, this person was not asked due to it involved hunting.  He/she was not a hunter, thus he/she  was not asked to go shopping in a hunting store.  This example shows that there is an emotional issue that was never  healed, whether it was from a past life or this life.  The issue is there causing a corrupted perception of the person’s reality  to his/her life pertaining to his/her  well-being.   This is a lesson in life,  stop procrastinating on looking at yourself, healing one’s self and letting go of these emotional blockages.  If not, your reality will not be truthful!

Reiki sessions sends Life Force energy(chi, prana)  in to each major  chakra.  From here, the Reiki energy acts like “Scrubbing Bubbles”, clearing out any blockages and releasing to you any emotional issues you need to observe, feel, forgive and release.  Reiki sessions are an excellent way to maintain your health.
