Amused

There were three monks walking through the desert on their way to the city.  The walk was a routine walk.  As far as the eye could see, there was sand and more sand.

After a bit of time, one monk spoke up, "Did you see that crystal rising up out of the sand?

Nature creates such beautiful, light filled crystal rocks.  I feel full of love."

The second monk spoke in an angry, disgruntled voice, "Are you nuts???  I only saw that dead, human hand rising out of the sand.

So horrible to have to witness rotting flesh.  Why don't people create better barrows?"

The third monk spoke in a fearful voice, "You both are seeing things.  Didn't you see that witch’s Divination crystal rising out of the sand?

Evil is among us!  We must be prepared to stand up against them."

The three monks continued their walk through the desert, arguing about what they saw and the meaning of it.

Soon they found themselves entering the city.  Upon entering, they noticed a young child sitting on the side of the road watching people walk by.

The three monks walked up to the young child and asked where they could find a Lagman? (Law speaker)

The child pointed in the direction of a heavily used building, called the Court of Pleas. (Court to hear civil cases between common people.)

The monks were extremely upset with each other.  They needed someone to help them figure out what they had witnessed.

The three stories were explained to the Ting.  (The counsel)

Monk one saw a beautiful crystal.  He felt love.

Monk two saw a rotting hand.  He felt anger.

Monk three saw a witch's Divination crystal and evil.  He felt fear.

What did the three monks see?

The Ting could not figure out the conundrum.

There happened to be an old, wise, quiet monk in the city that day.  He was quite curious to why there was a gathering for these three monks.

The quiet monk stood up and with a loud clearing of his throat, he asked if you could be of service.

As the room quieted down, the wise monk made his way to the center of the room.

"So let me get this straight.  The first monk saw a beautiful crystal rising from the sand.  He felt love.

The second monk saw a rotting human hand rising out of the sand.  He felt anger.

And the third monk saw a witch's Divination crystal rising out of the sand.  He felt fear."

He turned and faced the three monks.  "Do you suppose you all saw the same thing?"

The three monks looked amused.  "How can that be?", said the second monk.

The wise monk continued.  "All people have perceptions every day.  All people will have a slightly different perception then the next person.  This is due to what is in their heart.

The wise monk walked to face the first monk.  ""You, venerable sir perceived a beautiful crystal and upon seeing it, you felt love.  This means your perceptions come from love within your heart."

The wise monk walked to face the second monk.  "You, venerable sir perceived a rotting human hand and upon seeing it, you felt anger.  This means your perception is based on fear within your heart.  All fear is illusion."

The wise monk walked to face the third monk.  "You, venerable sir perceived a witch's Divination crystal and evil.  And upon seeing this, you felt fear.  This means your perception is based on fear within your heart.  All fear is an illusion."

Moral of the story.

All people have different perceptions from others.  We all may have slightly different perception due to our upbringing, culture, beliefs, thoughts, whether we have healed our Emotional bodies from hurts we have received, and the people surrounding us.

If our Emotional bodies have not been worked on, healed and cleared out (released emotions), our emotional hurts in life will create a skewed perception of our experience.  We will be in illusion.

Monk one had done his Inner work to heal what he needed to heal.  He was in the present moment, viewing a beautiful crystal rock.  He enjoyed what nature created for him to see.  He felt love.

Monk two had some fear in him.  Fear, whether being his own (Emotional body not healed) or someone else's fear that he picked up, will create a skewed perception.  Thus, he sees what really is not there.  He projects his fear upon his experiences and people.

Monk three had some fear in him as well.  Fear, whether being his own (Emotional body not healed) or someone else's fear that he picked up, will create a skewed perception.  Thus, he sees what really is not there.  He projects his fear upon his experiences and people.

Negative energy=negative mind.

Positive energy=positive mind.

All people see their own truths.  No one is wrong.  What someone sees is exactly what they perceive.  An unhealed Emotional body (located as a part of the Aura) will create skewness in one's perceptions.

  • Reiki energy helps to break up stuck emotional energy in the Aura.  Thus, the stuck emotions are helped to bubble up to you to be released.  When we work on ourselves, whether we use Reiki, or any other natural way, we bring more light into our Auras.  We bring in harmony to our whole being.  Thus, we see truths in a non-illusion way.
  • All fear is illusion.  All negative energy (emotions) is based on fear.
  • All positive emotions are based on love.  Love is harmonious.  Fear is not harmonious.
  • Discord/unharmonious energy (emotions) creates blockages in our energy systems.  We as human beings are meant to be in a harmonious state.  If not, we create dis-ease in our energy systems and eventually this will create physical problems in our physical bodies and minds.

It is good to have different perceptions from everyone in the world.  We can learn a lot from each other.

We need to stay open-minded to what others’ beliefs and what they have to say.  At times, we may find an answer we've been looking for from listening to other people and their perceptions, whether being from ancient times or modern times.

Second Moral of the story.

Get an eye check-up from your Eye doctor if you're not quite seeing clearly! (A little humor. ;) )
