Policy Statement

Reiki in the Prairie LLC provides professional quality service that provides relaxation, de-stressing, and calm. 

• Reiki in the Prairie LLC follows a Confidentiality/ Code of Ethics for Reiki practitioners.

Appointments:

•  Appointments can be made on Reiki in the Prairie LLC Homepage by using the Contact form.

•  Appointments are open for Monday-Saturday, from 10 am- 4:00 pm central standard time.  No   holidays, including Thanksgiving.
•  Upon making your appointment, Cynthia will ask you to fill out a Reiki Client Information form and submit it at least 2 days ahead of your appointment.     ***If this is not done, Cynthia will cancel   your appointment.  The appointment will need to be rescheduled.        
• In-person service is performed in the Health Food Center, 118 E. Kemp Ave., Watertown, SD.                                                 

Reiki Service:

• Cynthia may want to talk with you before or after the service.  Explaining Reiki to you and what to expect.  Afterwards, Cynthia will want to give you any insights she received during the service.  
• All sessions are done with clothes on, but shoes off.
• All sessions, the client has a choice of having the practitioner use hands-on or hands-off.  Except for Long Distance Reiki, your choice is hands-off.   There is no difference in quality.  This is for YOUR comfort.

Cancellations

•  Please do this at least 24 hours ahead of time. If you need to reschedule, please do so at this time.

Finances  

• All sessions will be paid for before service, with a credit card via PayPal. A PayPal bill will be sent to you via your email address before your session begins. 
• All products will be paid via PayPal. A PayPal bill will be sent to you via your email. The products will be mailed via USPS after the bill is paid in full. 

Client/Practitioner Expectations

• If anything is uncomfortable, I expect you to let me know right away.
• I expect to be treated with respect, the same way I will treat you, with respect.
• If I make any suggestions to you, it's up to you to accept it.  If it doesn't seem beneficial to you, just "let it go".
• Please come bathed/well-groomed prior to your In-Person session.
• Please do not wear any perfumes. 
• Please leave jewelry at home.
• If you have any issues or complaints, I ask you to talk to me personally whether through email (Contact form) or in person.  All people have different perceptions.  And due to this, you the client and me the practitioner, may have misunderstood each other.

Behavior of Client and Myself

• Any sexual harassment, will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave and Reiki service will be banned for you.  Prosecution may also result.  Service fee will not be returned.
• Strong negative behavior/words will not be tolerated.  If needed, the Reiki service will be discontinued and further Reiki service may be banned.  Service fee will not be returned.
• If you are intoxicated (alcohol/ drugs) the session will be immediately discontinued.  Service fee will not be returned.
• Cynthia has the right to terminate any professional relationship with a client.  
• Cynthia will keep our relationship on a professional level.  She takes her position as your practitioner seriously. Cynthia wants to provide a professional, safe, and  relaxed atmosphere that promotes healing and relaxation.

I created this blog for my Reiki clients originally.  Combining these tools with Reiki creates a happy, healthy person.  These tools, when used alone are also beneficial!
