I know that you Believe you Understand what I said.

Have you ever been around someone from a different state in the USA or a different country?  You soon find that you hear their words, but at times they don't make sense to you.  Why?

We all have different beliefs, accents, words, and viewpoints on everyday life.  We have differences in the different cultures we grew up in.  These differences can be as simple as using the word "Hotdish" in place of "Casserole".

Or as extreme as hearing a derogatory word being used, but it does not have a derogatory meaning in another culture, such as fag.  Fag in the USA has a derogatory meaning towards homosexual people, where in England it means a cigarette!  Who would have guessed!

So, you can see how communications between people, especially between cultures can be extreme at times.  I started to think of all the wars:   political, social, religious, and personal that have occurred due to different beliefs taught to us as children.

"In order to know and understand the book, you must read the cover, the Forward, the story, and the author's notes."  In other words, if we want to understand each other, we need to try to live in their life. (Understand their life.)

"People only want to be accepted, seen and acknowledged in this world."  An idea I noted from the Internet.

We are all the same inside, but on different paths.  We all have a body, a name, a personality, a Soul, a culture, we are all human, we all have a light and  dark side, and we all have emotional meltdowns at times.

Imagine the knowledge we can learn from each other!

The knowledge & understanding of life from each other; them and their cultures combined with our own knowledge and understanding.

Because we are all on a different path in life, many of us have different energy vibrations.  These different energy vibrations will clash at times with each other. Sort of like electrons and protons being attracted and repulsed by each other due to their negative and positive charges.  Or like when a star in outer space collides with another star.  The thing is, when a star collides with another star, a new and wonderful world can be formed.

Humans have energy systems that consist of Chakras, Auras, Meridians, etc.

In our auras we have a layer called the Emotional body.  In the Emotional body we store all our inner hurts from our whole life.  If we have not started to heal our "emotional triggers" (our inner hurts), our perceptions of people, experiences, beliefs, etc. will be skewed.

Every person reads energy (emotions, sounds, smells, etc.) daily. The energy flows through layers (bodies) of our auras.   When the energy flows through the unhealed Emotional body, the energy is "warped".  So, your perception of a life event or person could be skewed making communications even harder between you both.  (Unhealed Emotional body is one that the person has never Shadow worked on.  Shadow working is a form of healing and clearing out old childhood beliefs, old childhood traumas, traumas, fears, old beliefs that aren't believed anymore, negative behaviors, negative thoughts, etc.)

We need to work on healing our "Inner hurts" by accepting ourselves.  I use Reiki to help myself heal the Inner hurts.  (Shadow Working) The Reiki energy breaks up any blocked energy flows whether in the Chakra or in a Meridian, or elsewhere.  When the energy (suppressed emotions/stuck emotions) is broken up, the emotion will surface to be healed and cleared out.

To help understand others, we need to use our objective minds and empathy.  When we notice ourselves in an overly emotional mindset (subjective mind), we can simply tell ourselves out loud "I balance my subjective and objective mind immediately."  Notice how you feel. I know I have felt calmer when I do this.

The objective mind can help you see facts instead of reacting from a emotional place.

"I know that you believe you understand what I said, but I am not sure that you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." Robert McCloskey.

Next time you meet with someone from a different race, culture, country, and you feel affronted by them, take time to try to understand where they are coming from.  Look at their culture and beliefs to make sure it isn't simply a misunderstanding due to culture.

Not only read the book but read the whole book!  Take in the essence of the book.  We all have a wonderful story to tell.  We all can learn so much from each other.  Try to see and accept the whole book (person) and go from there.

I have used all procedures I have written about and have found them to be helpful as tools to help myself become a better person.   I am sharing them with you because used as a tool, they are helpful in Shadow working on ourselves.  (Shadow working is healing our inner shadows that are unconscious or subconscious.  Inner shadows are our belief systems, our thoughts, our behaviors, our life experiences.)

I created this blog for my Reiki clients originally.  Combining these tools with Reiki creates a happy, healthy person.  These tools, when used alone are also beneficial!
