Intentional Grounding!!!

It's important to stay grounded.  If you are not, you may feel anxious, out of sorts, not in reality, up in your head, dizzy.  Probably what it feels like to be on Pot?

Try the simple ideas above to keep grounded every day.

  • Earthing is walking barefooted on the Earth.
  • Eating protein before a stressful experience can help you.
  • Wearing black stones such as Black Tourmaline and Black Obsidian may help.
  • Wearing earthy, heavy fragrances.  Try Essential oils such as:  Vetiver, Clary Sage, Sandalwood, Myrrh, and Pine.
  • Staying in the present moment will also be a big help.
  • Thinking/worrying about the future is not the way to stay in the present moment.
  • Thinking and staying in the past doesn't cut it either.
  • To stay in the present moment, one must experience everything they feel, hear, notice, see, etc.  Use your senses and feel.  While washing dishes, what do you feel?  What do you see?  What do you smell?  hot water, slimy water, textured water, brown water, blue water, silky suds, bubbly suds, lemon smell, perfume smell, etc. When walking, what do your feet feel?  Tired, worn, hot, cold, prickly, hurt, energetic, cuddly, etc.  Do you feel the floor?  What does that feel like?  Notice this.  Did you notice the people passing you?  If not, you're not in the present moment.

Notice!  No one else will for you.

How would you feel when you entered Heaven, if all you could remember of your Human life is being in your head worrying or sitting in the past???  Not cool.  I would want to remember the fragrance of flowers, the smile of a good friend, the feeling of cool rain raining down on me.  The smell of the Earth after a good rain.  The sound of a Meadow Lark bird.  You get the picture.

Staying in the present moment takes practice.  Practice it every day.  Sooner or later, you'll keep improving.

Relatives, family, and friends may push you to be in your head again.  Try holding your presence when among them.  It's harder, but you can do it.

Intentional Grounding!!!  It's not the best for football, but for our lives, it's the only way.

I have used all procedures I have written about and have found them to be helpful as tools to help myself become a better person.   I am sharing them with you because used as a tool, they are helpful in Shadow working on ourselves.  (Shadow working is healing our inner shadows that are unconscious or subconscious.  Inner shadows are our belief systems, our thoughts, our behaviors, our life experiences.)

I created this blog for my Reiki clients originally.  Combining these tools with Reiki creates a happy, healthy person.  These tools, when used alone are also beneficial!
