Being Introspective

 Would you curse or use curse words towards a child?

Than why would you do this in your thoughts towards yourself and others?

All people have a inner child.  Think of your inner child as yourself at a very young age.

Ask yourself, what age do I want to see myself as my inner child?

When we have bad thoughts, negative emotions aimed at us or others, we are saying these thoughts to ourselves- our inner child.

Everything we say to ourselves- thoughts- are placed in our memories.  Every time we curse at ourselves or others, we retain these memories.  These memories do not hurt others.  These memories of us cursing out of anger, jealousy, greed, hate, etc., are kept with our own inner child.

If we curse, our inner child is kept in an environment that is full of anger, jealousy, greed, hate, etc.

In this world, most of us try to keep our physical children safe from harm.

We feed them, we bath them, we tell them stories, we bring joy to them, we share love with them, and we try to give them wisdom to follow.

But when we curse at ourselves or others in our heads (thoughts), we are essentially cursing at our own inner child.  When we curse at ourselves or others out in the open, again we are essentially cursing our own inner child.

Treat your self with care, love, kindness, and tenderness.  We are not only treating our physical selves this way, but we are treating our inner child also this way.

When we can do this, we will see a big difference in how the world reacts to us.  When we respect and show love towards ourselves and others, we will see respect and love come back to us ten-fold.

When we treat ourselves with respect, love, and kindness, we are teaching our inner child that we ARE here to protect, love, and support them.  They are SAFE!  

Some of our inner children were treated poorly from adults, while growing up in the physical world.

Now it's up to you to break any bad habits, break any ancestry abuse, heal inner child hurts, and treat yourself with kindness, love, and respect.

Again, we will see a big difference, but this time we will see it in our own health and welfare.

When you hear yourself cursing, whether in your head, out of your lips, or hand gestures, think of your inner child.  She/he is aware of this and she/he will have to live with it in her/his memory, maybe for a lifetime.
