Meditation, A way to find yourself.

When we start to meditate, we find that at times, it's hard for us to keep our minds on "nothing!"

Our minds tend to wander, thinking of past moments and what we must get done in the future.

This is normal.  Just sit and "watch" your thoughts go by.  Don't interact with them.  Just notice them.  When you can do this, you will find it a lot easier to relax the mind and let go.

When we meditate, I have found that I am able to release the world and just be with "Me".

Be in the present moment while meditating.  Just be.

No pressures, no one to asking favors of you, no commitments, and no responsibilities.

No one judging you.   Just "You" in this space, relaxing and watching thoughts come into consciousness and leaving consciousness.

Like an open window on each side of the mind.

The more you meditate, the more you can find yourself and be yourself.  Thus, you'll bring your "authentic self" to the world each day.

The more you meditate, the more you feel mindful.  The more you meditate, the more you find yourself.

For information on meditating, I wrote a couple of other papers on it.

I have used all procedures I have written about and have found them to be helpful as tools to help myself become a better person.   I am sharing them with you because used as a tool, they are helpful in Shadow working on ourselves.  (Shadow working is healing our inner shadows that are unconscious or subconscious.  Inner shadows are our belief systems, our thoughts, our behaviors, our life experiences.)

I created this blog for my Reiki clients originally.  Combining these tools with Reiki creates a happy, healthy person.  These tools, when used alone are also beneficial!
